Northeast Region Section Five

Northeast Region Section Five consists of ten lodges from New York to West Virginia and covers the western half of Pennsylvania. Section 5C was formed on June 3, 1973, when representatives from eight lodges from Areas III-B and III-F met at the Moraine Trails Council office in Butler, PA. In 1988, as a result of the realignment of the sections within the Northeast Region, Section 5C became Section 5 and Monaken Lodge #103 (from NE-5B) and Ho-Nan-Ne-Ho-Ont Lodge #165 (from NE-2C) were reassigned, making a total of ten lodges in the newly formed Section Five.

In 1993, Kiasutha Lodge #57 and Tanacharison Lodge #67 consolidated, forming Enda Lechauhanne Lodge #57, and the section went from ten to nine lodges. In 1994, Ahtuhquog Lodge #540 (from NE-6) was added, once again making a total of ten lodges in Section Five.

Each year the section holds a conclave to conduct leadership training, seminars, and various competitions, and serves to strengthen the fellowship among the arrowmen in the section. The first Section Five conclave was held in 1989 by Gyantwachia Lodge #255 at Custaloga Town Scout Reservation.
